Lenses usability problems

Bug description:
Unity and window action (show / min / max /close) is focused on the
top left of the screen. However the two standard lenses (Applications
and Files & Folders) are at the bottom of the stack and on most
smaller screen devices in a "tilted" or "hidden state". This is not
only counter intuitive (the Application & Places menu until now was
also in the top left corner), it increases the mouse travel distance
(when activating Unity from a hidden state) from top to the bottom of
the screen every time a lens action is required. These lenses should
be on the top of the stack - not the bottom and always "visible" i.e.
not tilted. There is also no explanation for new users to right click
on the lens to view the list options.
