Po-Hsu Lin, as per http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-
support/product/optiplex-3011-aio/drivers an update to your computer's
buggy and outdated BIOS is available (A07). If you update to this
following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change
anything?

If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't

  [Dell OptiPlex 3011] AMD Radeon HD 8490 [1002:6771] Unable to
  hibernate with the open-source driver

Status in xserver-xorg-video-ati package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  CID: 201302-12681 Dell OptiPlex 9020

  This system cannot be hibernated with the open source driver

  Step:
  1. Install 14.04, boot to desktop
  2. Hibernate with sudo pm-hibernate

  Expected result:
  * System should work properly before / after S4

  Actual result:
  * Display turned off and system seems to be freezed, unable to enter S4. You have to hold the power button to turn it off.

  Note: this issue could be solved by using the proprietary fglrx
  driver.
