Title:
Full screen 1080p HTML5 video causes crash
Status in xserver-xorg-video-ati package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Playing any fullscreen video with YT's HTML5 player with 1080p will
cause a crash after a few minutes of steady playback. The screen will
go black, and then come back on with a frozen image of the video,
while the audio continues to play in the background.
I am able to switch to virtual console and restart lightdm, but it
runs extremely slow so I just end up rebooting.
