Le Gluon Du Net, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better. Does using the nvidia proprietary drivers provide a WORKAROUND
as outlined in
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BinaryDriverHowto/Nvidia ?

  if I connect my tv screen as a second screen to my Macbook pro, with a
  thunderbolt to hdmi connectic, I obtain a lot of glitches and some
  black screen portions.
