Title:
custom commands environment should be set to the user directory
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
When I create a custom shortcut(i.e. through System -> Preferences ->
Keyboard Shortcuts) their opening path is /, but should be ~/.
For example, if I make a shortcut to gedit, when I want to save a
file, the default it shows is /, but it should be ~/ as if you opens
gedit from any other place. This is crucial because if you make a
custom shortcut to gnome-terminal, it also opens in /, and not ~/, and
if you arent aware of that, you can do major damage to your system.
I've discovered this on Jaunty Alpha 5, and have not checked it on
earlier releases since I'm not home at the moment, but will do and
report back later.
Specifikations:
Ubuntu jaunty (development branch) 9.04
gnome-keybinding-properties
