I can confirm this bug. It occurs every time I start gnome-shell...

i'm updating packages via synaptic, and each time i get logged:
GConf error: configuration server cant be met: D-BUS error: Method
"Set" with signature "s(i(ias))" on interface
"org.gnome.GConf.Database" doesn't exist

Note: i'm not sure about which package to blame, so can be an other
package and not gnome-python
