pidgin crashed with SIGSEGV in msn_nexus_get_token()

Status in pidgin package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pidgin

Pidgin suddently pops up many SSL Cert Error windows, floods my desktop.
Endlessly, more than a hunderd. My PC CPU and memory got eaten, responding slower and slower.

I try to cut off my internet connection to make pidgin get off-line error to stop the SSL error windows popup flooding.
After switching off my internet, pidgin blocks my PC a while and then crashed.
