[Bug 675188] Re: pidgin crashes on a first message from an icq contact after I use the plugins configuration window
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. Ubuntu 10.10 is no longer
supported so I'm going to close this bug.

Title:
pidgin crashes on a first message from an icq contact after I use the
plugins configuration window
Status in pidgin package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pidgin
Ubuntu release: 10.10 Maverick Meerkat
After I do some configuration work in plugins window and close that
window, Pidgin would simply disappear (crash, but without error
messages) when an icq contact sends me a message. It just closes
itself.
Maybe this will help too: I had Empathy installed and configured, but
not open, when this problem happened.
Second: the icq user, who was sending me messages to test was using
QiP messenger.
