Title:
Garbled text in Wily installer with GeForce GTX750
Status in xserver-xorg-video-nouveau package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Just downloaded Wily final and tried to install it with the graphical
installer. I see some garbled text: there are usually pieces of text
missing (blocks) or text is replaced with white artifacts. I was
barely able to go through the install by remembering the options. This
is visible also after rebooting to the fresh install of Ubuntu 15.10.
Installing nvidia-352 fixes this problem. Here is how the problem
looks like in the installer: http://imgur.com/MdlBGUU
