[Bug 1509068] Re: "Ask each time" option does not work when launching executable text files in GUI.
Hey Seth,
I have read here:
"https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingIRQProblems" that there is a
workaround for the "irqXX: nobody cared . . ." message which I assume
would also take care of the rest, booting with the irqpoll option, but
as is said in the article "this does not help diagnose the root cause,
nor should it be a permanent fix". Is there any permanent fix for that
issue?

Selecting then launching executable text files by pressing the "enter"
key on keyboard or double-clicking the file automatically displays it
when "Ask each time" is set for Executable Text Files in Files -> Edit
-> Preferences -> Behavior.
