[Bug 1517954] Re: Mouse click handler sometimes unresponsive while using Wireless USB Headset Corsair VOID rgb

Christian Löpke, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu
better.

As per https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P5E_Deluxe/HelpDesk_Download/
an update to your computer's buggy and outdated BIOS is available
(0501). If you update to this following
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BIOSUpdate does it change anything?

If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

For more on BIOS updates and linux, please see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#Bug_reporting_etiquette
.

Please note your current BIOS is already in the Bug Description, so
posting this on the old BIOS would not be helpful. As well, you don't
have to create a new bug report.

Once the BIOS is updated, if the problem is still reproducible, and the
information above is provided, then please mark this report Status New.
Otherwise, please mark this as Invalid.

Thank you for your understanding.

** Description changed:

- Regarding to my post on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/993655
- here is my ubuntu-bug report.
+ while using a Corsair VOID rgb Wireless USB Headset, approximately every
+ 15 minutes mouse clicks are unresponsive. If I don't use the keys on the
+ headset the mouse problem appears only after login.

- Additionally I can say if I dont use the keys on the headset the mouse problem appears only after the login.
- Switching the tty and switching back to tty7 still fixes this.
-
- My message was:
-
- I can confirm this bug with a Corsair VOID RGB wireless headset.
- Mouse movement works all the time but sometimes (every 15 min ca.) mouse clicks are not recognized any more till I switch tty with strg+alt+F1 and back to seven.
-
- Im using XUbuntu 15.04 and really want to help.
- But I dont know where to look for debug outputs.
-
- Can someone help me ?
- Which informations are required to debug this ?
+ WORKAROUND: Switch tty with strg+alt+F1 and back to seven.
