Title:
Brasero/ISOMaster ISO file compatibility issue with VirtualBox

Status in “brasero” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: brasero

I was installing Windows for Workgroups 3.11 (WfW) in VirtualBox and
it seemed a good idea to put all network drivers and other stuff in an
ISO file to be used by WfW. I have created those files with Brasero,
ISO Master using Ubuntu 10.10 and Nero using Windows XP.

VirtualBox only understands the Nero ISO images and other images I
downloaded from the Internet. The images created by Brasero and ISO
master cannot be used, some directories show up empty and many of the
files in the ISO cannot be read.

Note that Nautilus reports a 2MB file size while the Nero Image is
more then 40MB. While I was adding the files Brasero did give a
warning about incompatibility with Windows and it would truncated the
filename to 64 bytes, which seems strange for WfW files mostly 8
character filemames. The input files came from an NTFS network drive.

The problem is not with the Guest OS, because there I tried WfW/DOS,
Windows 95, Windows 2000 and Ubuntu 10.10. All those OSes showed the
  same type of problems.

Ubuntu 10.10 is daily updated and VirtualBox is version 4.0.0. I have
attached the file created by Brasero.
