  Using a Lenovo 3000 C100 laptop 
  VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 04)
  Connected to an HP w19ev 19" Monitor

  While setting up dual monitor output, setting both screens to same
  image works with full screen 1024x768 in both screens, but I can't set
  an independent 1440x900 in the HP monitor at the same time as having
  1024x768 in the laptop monitor (i.e. when same image in all monitors
  box is unchecked). Instead of displaying a full screen at 1440x900,
  the 19" monitor displays a 1024x768 area, with surrounding black
  space.
