[Bug 1537766] Re: Graphical glitch with scrollbars

I'm not sure if this belongs to gnome-terminal, xorg or something else,
but it's not as designed.

Look at my first attachment "White strange scrollbar".

The scrollbars was changed in 15.10, but in 15.10 they worked. Look at
the image, the area beside and above the scrollbar is white/grey when it
should match the terminal color and transparcency.

Works in 15.10, but not in 16.04.

** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => New

Title:
  Graphical glitch with scrollbars

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
It seems like the scrollbars should be small until I hover over them,
but for me the area where the scrollbar should be hidden turns white.
Everything is fine when I hover over it. I think this is the same
everywhere, but it's visible in the terminal as the background is
something other than plain white. Pictures attached.

I checked it on a Broadwell-U laptop too, same problem.

Tested in VirtualBox too, same problem.
