Same bug on Ubuntu 15.10,  i attached a screenshot too.

In my case i also previouly edited successfuly the connection after
fresh install, i can´t figure when was introduced.

The error appears when click "Edit" button on editor screen with mobile
connection selected.

Tried Frank´s proposed solution with no success.

Exact output from error:
Error initializing editor settings/nm-settings-connection.c.955 - Connection didn't have requested setting 'ppp'

Bug description:
  Error initializing editor
  settings/nm-settings-connection.c.995 - Connection didn't have requested setting 'ppp'

  Error occurs when attempting to edit existing mobile broadband connection.
  Editing existing Ethernet connections succeeds without error.

  This broke between 1.0.4-0ubuntu3 and 1.0.4-0ubuntu5

  The connection still functions correctly but its properties can no
  longer be edited with gui.
