It is not working for me on BQ E5 device with Ubuntu Touch stable OTA-9.
@Bartosz: On which version have you tested it on your BQ E4.5 ?

Bug description:
  Summary:
  headphone button does not answer or hangup phone call.

  Steps:
  1. plug in headphones with a call/hangup button in headphone jack
  2.  call the phone with the headphones plugged in with step 1
  3.  press headphone answer/hangup button

  expected results:
  call is answered

  actual results
  nothing happens. 

  
  Additional info, this should also play/pause music when no call is in session.
