  .desktop Telephony category, X-PulseAudio-Properties ignored

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: pulseaudio

  Nether the "Telephony" category nor the X-PulseAudio-
  Properties=media.role=phone setting in an application .desktop file
  are being honored in order to get PulseAudio to automatically direct
  telephony audio to telephony devices like a bluetooth headset.  My
  bluetooth headset, a Blueant Z9i, is properly recognized as a
  telephony device by Pulse as a telephony device, according to the
  audio preferences applet, and audio can be directed to the device
  manually using the applet.  However, Pulse will not direct the audio
  to the device on its own.  Here is the content of the .desktop file:
