Title:
  Realtek ALC1200 sound not working

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Output in sound preferences not even noticed. No input being noticed
  either.

In the terminal I input this (As your website told me to do):

  grep "^Codec\|^Vendor Id\|^Subsystem Id\|^Revision Id" /proc/asound/card*/*codec*{,/*} | grep -B2 -A1 $(lspci -nv | grep -A1 0403 |
  grep Subsystem | sed 's/://g' | awk '{ print $2 }')

The output of the request is this:

  /proc/asound/card0/codec#0:Codec: Realtek ALC1200
  /proc/asound/card0/codec#0:Vendor Id: 0x10ec0888
  /proc/asound/card0/codec#0:Subsystem Id: 0x104382fe
  /proc/asound/card0/codec#0:Revision Id: 0x100101

(Subsystem ID is bolded in red.)

Also when I input lspci is input into the terminal I get this as the
  audio controller:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD
  Audio Controller

  No sound at all.
