[Bug 851023] Re: "Enable Wireless" in Network Manager Applet grayed out
Sorry...But I just confirmed that this problem was not related to
NetworkManager. I created a new user as root user, logged in unity, and
NetworkManager behaved OK. It could be the permission problem of my
original user account, though it was also a root user. Anyway, thanks!

Title:
"Enable Wireless" in Network Manager Applet grayed out
Status in “network-manager-applet” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
In my panel, "Enable Wireless" is grey and unchecked although I have a
working wireless network. It used to work correctly. But after latest
update it cannot work. Besides, in System Settings => User Accounts,
the "unlock" greyed, too. My account type is Administrator, in the
root group. My network-manager is 0.9.0-0ubuntu3.
