Message #19139
[Bug 853994] [NEW] g-c-c User Accounts should be built with webcam support
Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 11.10 allows users to set their picture using the webcam during
installation, but after installation it's much more cumbersome to set
the userpicture with the webcam. gnome-control-center does support using
the webcam directly but not in Ubuntu. http://library.gnome.org/users
/gnome-help/stable/user-changepicture.html.en
This might require cheese to be a build-dependency (and thus, in main).
Or maybe gnome-control-center could be patched so that it could just use
the same library that ubiquity uses without needing to have cheese
available.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10
Package: gnome-control-center 1:3.1.91-0ubuntu8
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-11.18-generic 3.0.4

ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu1
Architecture: amd64
Date: Mon Sep 19 12:26:06 2011
SourcePackage: gnome-control-center
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)

deja-dup 19.92-0ubuntu1
empathy 3.1.91-0ubuntu2
gnome-bluetooth 3.1.4-0ubuntu2

** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
