  neither spellchecker nor grammer checker are working, both are set to
  UK

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  I have tried restarting several times but to no avail. Running the
  spell checker manually just tells me it is complete with no errors
  identified, even when I have deliberately misspelled  wrosd
