[Bug 856110] [NEW] USB headset speaker volume unaffected by volume control
Public bug reported:
With my Logitech USB headset, it should be possible to control the
speaker volume with the tuner in Sound Preferences -> Output -> Premium
Stereo USB Headset 350 Analog Stereo. However, this control has
absolutely no effect.
The only way I was able to control the speaker volume was by installing
gnome-alsamixer, and controlling it from there. It shouldn't be
necessary to install another package, as most folks wouldn't even think
of doing this, let alone know which package to install. This should
work out-of-the-box with the default volume control.
