Title:
gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in call_in_idle_cb()

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
This crash in gnome-settings-daemon 3.1.91-0ubuntu5 occurred shortly
after logging in to a recently updated Oneiric i386 system. I had
previously opened Firefox, and also had mounted an NTFS volume with
"udisks --mount" from a virtual console. I'm not sure if any of that
is relevant. Speaking generally, the problem appears to be that a
function is called before it is registered (I have lots of debug
symbols installed, and this explains why the first line still has no
symbolic function name in the stack trace produced on the affected
  machine).
