Title:
  software-center crashed with DBusException in
  _convert_dbus_exception(): org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod:
  Method "GetAll" with signature "s" on interface
  "org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties" doesn't exist

Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  While using BBC News website, I was told that I didn't have the required Firefox plugin to play an embedded video clip. I clicked on a link that took me to the Adobe website, where I was given the choice of formats in which to download the plugin. I chose the APT format which was opened by Software Center.
  Software Center opened and told me that another version was available in the repository. There was one button marked 'Use this source' (or similar) which I clicked. The next page had a large 'Not Found' message and a short sentence stating that there isn't a software package called 'adobe-flashplugin' in my current software sources.
  At this point apport started and told me that Software Center had crashed.
  However, the 'Install' button was there and 'adobe-flashplugin' had 4 out of 5 stars - not bad for a piece of software that doesn't exist! I clicked the button and it seemed to install. I finally clicked on the link at the Adobe website again and Software Center said that it had installed. Rather confusing, to say the least! Will restart Firefox and post whether the plugin had in fact installed or not.
