[Bug 860050] [NEW] LightDM comes back to greeter after login in and "nvidia" logo

Public bug reported:

Description:	Ubuntu oneiric (development branch)
Release:	11.10

lightdm:
  Installed: 0.9.7-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.9.7-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 0.9.7-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://ftp.free.org/mirrors/archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main amd64 Packages

I can't login to any window manager. Kdm works, "startx" doesn't, gdm
doesn't.

With KDM, which works with unity, kdm, etc: is finished by
