Title:
  tab autocompletion not working

Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

i have inkscape installed, so i want to remove it (only for test) and
  i write

  santiago@hyperion:~$ sudo apt-get remove ink(tab)

  and it instantly completes this

  santiago@hyperion:~$ sudo apt-get remove inkgrep-status: /var/lib/dpkg/status:32952: expected a colon
  .

it did not autocomplete inkscape, and throw this grep-status error.
This behavior is not shown when installong gwibber for example,

  santiago@hyperion:~$ sudo apt-get install gwib(tab)

  and it completes with

  santiago@hyperion:~$ sudo apt-get install gwibber
