Title:
The saving message shows filepath between backslashes
Status in “gedit” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gedit
When a file is being saved, be it through File > Save or Ctrl+S, a
saving message shows up in the status bar. It presents the following
sentence:
Saving file \"/path/to/file\"...
I believe the filepath was supposed to be enclosed in just quotation
marks, but for some purpose the backslashes appeared. Maybe the escape
character to allow quotation marks within strings was doubled?
Release: gedit 2.30.3 on Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit
