[Bug 870873] Re: screen does not turn on backlight with specific power setting in controlcenter

 

I didn't test it good enough before reporting. The setting doesn't
change anything the problem is that screen turn off and it doesn't turn
on again when activate an key or mouse pad.

Bug description:
  When i configure my system too "when on battery suspend when inactive for 30 minutes" then when on AC power when screen blank the back light is not turned on when activate keys or mouse pad.
  The system is not dead if I close the lid to make it suspend then i immediately can wake system and screen back light turn on correct.
  If I change the setting too "Don't suspend" problem does not occur.  Despite the setting is for battery powered and problem happens when AC plugged in.

  Bad setting:
  on battery: Suspend after 30min, when lid is closed suspend, when power critical low hibernate.
  When plugged: Don't suspend, when lid is closed suspend.

  Good setting:
  on battery: Don't suspend, when lid is closed suspend, when power critical low hibernate.
  When plugged: Don't suspend, when lid is closed suspend.
