[Bug 789346] Re: Screen brighness randomly changes on Lenovo Y560 laptop
Mine always darkens, and it sometimes goes to ~%70, but other times it
seems to go all the way down.
Also, I've updated the BIOS and graphics drivers and the problem still
occurs.

Title:
Screen brighness randomly changes on Lenovo Y560 laptop
Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
My installation of Ubuntu 11.04 randomly changes screen brightness without input from the user. The time between brightness changes can be from hours to seconds.
Changing the brightness back manually temporarily fixes this until it changes again.
