Title:
openoffice 'send document as email' should use xdg-email and does not
work by default for Thunderbird
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org
We have several users here who use thunderbird rather than evolution.
They have it set as their mail reader in System -> Preferences ->
Preferred Applications. In Intrepid, when they used the 'send
<document> as email' option in OpenOffice, it opened thunderbird.
After upgrading to Jaunty beta, they report that it tried to start
Evolution. Digging into 'Tools -> Options -> Internet', it seems
OpenOffice now defaults to 'sensibleooo-mua' which we don't appear to
ship?
