Title:
Keyboard variants sorting should be better than using alphabetic order
Status in GNOME Control Center:
Fix Released
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
When adding a new layout By country, after selecting the country
"United States", the default variant is Latin America.
That is probably not the most commonly used, neither is it expected.
It is especially confusing, since if the user then clicks Add, the
main windows will list "Latin America" as the new entry, with no
mention of United States at all.
