Title:
disable while typing should have option to not disable on Ctrl or Alt
keys
Status in GNOME Control Center:
Invalid
Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
New

Candidate: 1:2.28.1-0ubuntu1
Version table:

This is a wishlist item, or maybe a "I wish it worked like x".
When using "disable touchpad while typing," gnome disables the WHOLE
touchpad while typing ANYTHING, including a Ctrl or Alt key. This
makes it very difficult to do Ctrl clicks.
Some may disagree, but it seems like it would be preferable to me to either
A) allow "button" clicks while typing but not the (possibly accidental) "tap to clicks"
B) don't disable clicks when function keys are pressed
Maybe an option for one or both of these is in order.
