[Bug 768543] Re: "Mode" menu issue
Thanks for taking the time to report a bug. However, since you have
reported this bug, there have been lots of changes, Natty has been
released, lot of updates, and we're very close to the Oneiric release. I
have tried to reproduce this bug on my Natty install, but I was not
able. Could you please also try, see if it still happens for you, and if
it happens, please provide a more detailed description on how to
reproduce it.
** Changed in: gcalctool (Ubuntu)

Title:
"Mode" menu issue
Status in “gcalctool” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gcalctool
Using gCalctool 6.0.1 on Ubuntu 11.04 beta 2.
Try this:
1. Start gCalctool - it does not matter what mode it is already in - let's this say for this example it is in Basic mode.
2. Now Click on Mode in the menu
3. Click on Advanced - it does switch to Advanced mode
4. Now click on Mode in the menu and not only is "Advanced" checked but "Basic" is still checked.
This behavior seems to happen no matter what combination you try - the
previous mode's menu item remains checked in the menu.
