Public bug reported:

on the first launch of evolution after upgrading to ubuntu 11.10 a
dialog informs the user that they need to migrate to mailboxes. after
allowing this evolution though for a while, and then closed (not sure if
it crashed, or decided that it was done).

this migration was incomplete. my old mailbox has 4294 messages, but the
new one has only 401 (interestingly it claims to have more unread than
total, 440).
