Title:
  Evince window size changes arbitrarily

Status in “evince” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: evince

Evince is very good pdf viewer but there's no default window size option where i can manually choose the window size and zoom level. I want fixed window size and fixed zoom option for all pdf files. The problem is that Evince not always remember it's size.

  When I just [open] - [resize] - [ctrl + t] - [close] - [open] , then
  it works well.

Sometimes it's window size became very small or wide in horizontal direction and narrow.
There are many times it changes it's window size arbitrarity (or default size?) but usually I don't remember what exactly I did before I open that file.

There are two examples I found.

  1. [open] - [resize] - [ctrl+t] - [close] - [open] - [maximize] - [close] - [open] - [restore]
then the window size became unexpectedly small.

  2. [open] - [resize] - [ctrl+t] - [close] - [open another file I opened before]
then the ctrl+t is not applied to the second pdf file. The second one is shown like when I closed it before.
