Title:
gimp-2.6 crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_check_instance_is_a()
Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gimp
On a netbook. Opened a regular image stored on harddisk. Copy and "pasted as new image" a small selection of the original image. Stored the new image. Tried to close the original image. Computer would ask me whether I would like to kill gimp process as it is not responding. Declined. After a few minutes gimp crashed.
This error is reproducible.
Workaround is to close the original image before saving the new image.
