Title:
Opening a new tab always takes few seconds
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
When opening a new tab in gnome-terminal with Shift+Ctrl+T or doing it
through the menu bar, terminal freezes for about 3-4 seconds and then
the new tab appears. That makes working with tabs a bit annoying,
specially because in the previous version (in Ubuntu 9.10) opening a
new tab happened immediatelly.
Release of Ubuntu: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
gnome-terminal version: 2.29.6-0ubuntu5
