Title:
Removing mp3 player results in "the folder contents could not be
displayed"
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Almost every time I remove my Sansa Sandisk Clip+ mp3 device, the
device is unmounted, and then Nautilus throws the error "the folder
contents could not be displayed."
There doesn't seem to be anything wrong -- the device is unmounted
without problems. But Nautilus spits that error about 85% of the time.
It happens if I use the eject icon, or if I right-click from the
sidebar tree and choose unmount or safely remove. However, if Nautilus
is closed and I right-click on the device icon on the desktop, the
error doesn't occur (not that I recall).
Ubuntu 10.10 (64 bit) on a Lenovo IdeaPad Y510, and the device is in
msc (usb) mode; I don't believe this happens with regular usb devices,
but I don't use them quite enough to know for sure.
