[Bug 669594] Re: Nautilus after install Ubuntu 10.10 is very slow !

I guess its a problem with 64 bit.

After reinstalltion (pae->64bit) Nautilus has the same problem as described here
Before it wasnt that Ram eater.

I mentioned this problem a year ago, when i was using a 64 bit System.
The Less RAM overall on PAE was about 200 MB with exactly the same config

Nautilus after install Ubuntu 10.10 is very slow !

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: nautilus

I use Ubuntu since 7.04, and i always install a new version removing the last one.
Since Ubuntu 10.10, i've been confronted to a serious problem, how dificult my work as a student in programation.
Nautilus become very slow, with all kind of operation :
  - Open simple folders with a lot of files
  - Open simple folders with zero files.
  - Move the mouse without getting all the window frozen.

And when i look at the System monitor he show me that Nautilus is
  using 105mb of ram !

How can i do to solve to problem ? I have the last actualized Nautilus
without any extra, and, i have removed appmenu-gtk.

  Thanks in advance,
And sorry for my very bad english :S...
