Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: totem

  When playing DVD's with totem on my 1.4Ghz Celeron m, the video is
  choppy and unwatchable, CPU is at a constant 100%. If I instead use
  VLC the Video plays back smooth with no issues. It seams to me that
  the video codec that Totem uses to playback DVD's is poorly optimized.
