[Bug 875000] [NEW] firefox exit doesn't preempt a bugged flash player

Public bug reported:

I used firefox with a flash content on the web.

The window was properly closed. However, trying to close my Gnome session says a firefox instance is still open. If I try to launch again firefox, then a message tells there is an instance already alive. At this point the "ps xf" command shows the below process list :
---
(...)
 1478 ? Sl 0:26 /usr/lib/firefox-3.6.23/firefox-bin http://www.adobe.com/go/learn_fp_settings_trusted_locations_fr
 1508 ? Tl 0:28 \_ /usr/lib/firefox-3.6.23/plugin-container /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so 1478 plugin true
(...)
---

Why Firefox doesn't preempt any bugged plugin in order to properly
shutdown ?

Thanks.
