Message #35019
[Bug 875047] [NEW] Unable to connect to the access point with a certain essid
Public bug reported:
I have access point with essid '93'. When I try to configure it in
Network manager, it create new record in connections list. But it is
impossible to connect to it. If I try to connect, network manager every
time initiates creation of a new entry in the connections list.
I try to connect to AP with different ESSID, and with most of it all
works properly. The problem occurs only with access points that have
essids consist only of numbers (without letters).
The generated file /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/93 contains one wrong string:
ssid=]
I think it must be
ssid=93
If essid contains letters, Network Manager write this string correctly.
Ubuntu 11.10 (same problem in Debian testing), Network Manager 0.9.1.90-0ubuntu3
With NetworkManager 0.8 everything worked correctly.
