[Bug 875462] [NEW] music isn't playing correctly. it just keeps skipping.

Public bug reported:

I can't seem to get my music to play correctly. I have already tried
choosing a different songs, so I know it's not a problem with my music.
Every time I play it, it just ends up skipping ahead and not playing as
it should. On a related note, this happens when I want to play YouTube
videos. This problem only started happening once I upgraded to 11.10.
