[Bug 876070] [NEW] Backup cannot be restored on a fresh install

Public bug reported:

0. Decided to reinstall Ubuntu 11.10 from scratch
1. Created a fresh backup of my /home/username on an SSH server with deja-dup
2. Reinstalled Ubuntu
3. Ran a restore process from deja-dup (a very slick UI, thank you!)
4. Entered SSH credentials, checked "save password" box
5. deja-dup successfully connected to server and listed available backup
6. Selected restore to original location
7. After severla seconds of "Preparing..." deja-dup asked me for a password to elevate privileges (why? I'm only restoring my own home dir)
8. The UI wizard immediately turned to a terminal page reporting an error: "Connection failed, please check your password: Login dialog cancelled". When running `deja-dup --restore` from terminal duplicity also reports exit code 38.

Note: same thing happens when pointing explicitly to a home directory
instead of original location at step 6.

Expected result is obviously a flawless restoration of my original home
dir in place.
