Message #35830
[Bug 876110] [NEW] Network Manager stores some SSIDs as "ä"
Public bug reported:
I am attempting to connect to a WPA2 Personal network with the SSID
"228". On the first connection attempt, authentication fails. However,
when I edit the wireless connection, the SSID has changed to "ä" in the
Network Manager. Changing the SSID back to 228 fixes the problem
temporarily until the next time I disconnect.
I have tested this with two other laptops with the same results. I am
not sure what the hardware on those laptops is.
