[Bug 875179] Re: Pressing eject button in nautilus does not safely remove device

"Unmount" removes a single mounted partition, whereas "safely remove"
removes all partitions. An observable difference include the disk's
continued presence in both Nautilus and Disk Utility. Further, for disks
containing multiple partitions, it would be better for all partitions to
be removed using the "eject button" rather than just the one.

Title:
Pressing eject button in nautilus does not safely remove device

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  OS: Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric stable
  Application: Nautilus 3.2.0

Next to the name of a USB device in Nautilus, there is an eject icon.
Clicking on it, one would expect that the device is safe to remove.
However, the device is merely unmounted, and not safely removed.
