Title:
nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_type_create_instance()

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Nautilus crashed immediately afer login first time after update from
  11.04 to 11.10.

I'm reporting this as a new bug, because all the similar entries were
rather old, this might be introduced in 11.10.

And while tying this text, the touchpad and buttons died... :-(
