Title:
the mounts in the place menu should have a properties entry.
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Committed
Bug description:
When opening a menu on the breadcrubs, there is a Properties item
available. This one is not there when you rightclick on the Place pane
menu.
Use case: when trying to see for the free space on a device (USB-stick
or -disk), you have to click on the device in the PLaces pane, then
move to the breadcrumb in the right pane, activate the menu and choose
Properties. It is more intuitive that this particular action in
available in the Places pane menu.
It could be that there are more several actions which are
inconsistent, but this is the one I'm encountering always. From a
technical POV, I think there should be no distinction between the
several menu's (one menu for all), thus providing optimal consistency.
