Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about

Title:
  Gnome Panel doesn't show minimized windows

Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-panel

  I installed Docky, used it but wanted to return back to the original
  Ubuntu (Gnome) panel. The panel was removed while I was using Docky
  (the bottom Panel). But when I added a new bottom Panel and minimized
  my applications, they do not show up at the bottom! I do not know
  what's wrong.

   I expected everything too go back to normal and my minimized
  programs/ programs that are opened, to show up on the bottom panel.  I
  am using Ubuntu 10.10
