[Bug 688486] gnome panel behaves strangely
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be
reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable
release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test
with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about

Status in “gnome-panel” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
i set the panel(originally at the buttom of the screen) to the right
side of the screen and add the width of the panel to 100px, but when i
have opened about 10 or more windows, the bars on the panel change
their order frequently(too quick , flicker) between to colum mode to
one colum mode.
